ASSISTANT MANAGER/DEPUTY MANAGER - SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER Technical expert

M/PQT3-IN SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER - TECHNICAL EXPERT : Material Field : CASTING -FERROUS AND NON - FERROUS ,Expert Mold flow analyst , Experience in Die design concept and manufacturing , Expertise and hands on experience in HPDC+GDC and casting - ferrous

Responsible for quality, production & Assembly process related claims issues at the supplier in series parts

Responsible to solve technical issues at supplier using the principle of on-site, on-the-spot

Responsible for evaluating overall quality performance of the supplier and drive Zero Defect and deploying Q enablers

Responsible for supplier development / improvement actions with respect to QMS,

Responsible for Management of technology ,process and expertise in casting material field w.r.t new projects .

Responsible for Pre-Technical discussion ,SICR management and 8D's closure with plant quality

Responsible for closure of VDA6.3,Customer audits open points

> Support to technical discussion , pre sourcing and Q tool deploying at suppliers to reduce claims

Qualifications

Required knowledge competencies and attributes*

Minimum of 8-10 years of hands on experience in CASTING FOUNDRY in Casting Process (Ferrous and non ferrous : HPDC+GDC ) and Casting Technology - HPDC+GDC+LPDC , Mold flow analysis and Die design concept and manufacturing

B.E/B.TECH.M-TECH - Mechanical Engineering with additional qualification likeNIFT qualification is an added advantage and would be desired.

Knowledge on Casting process for both ferrous and Non-ferrous , Know how on Machines, Tool and Die making, Mold flow Simulation and Analysis

Basic knowledge on casting manufacturing process, Inspection , Problem solving Techniques and Latest technology w,r.t global perspective

Experience in handling and resolving casting process related Q issues (Internal and external)

Knowledge on Problem solving techniques and expertise in 8D method

Experience in QMS process and actions

Basic knowledge on Automotive standard and VDA6.3
