We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to handle sourcing and supplier management for Refrigeration components and assemblies.
The role focuses on achieving cost, quality, delivery, and compliance targets through strategic sourcing, should-costing, negotiations, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical or Electrical) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 7 8 years in Refrigeration or similar industry procurement/sourcing (preferably with OEMs/ODMs).
- Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems/components (compressors, condensers/evaporators, heat exchangers, fan motors, capillary/expansion valves, copper/aluminum tubing, sheet metal/plastic parts, controllers, harnesses, chemicals/refrigerants).

Must-Have Skills
- Strong costing acumen.
- Negotiation and vendor management; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on with RFQ/RFP, contracts, and T&Cs (payment, INCOTERMS, LDs, warranties).
- Knowledge of refrigeration manufacturing processes
- Data proficiency: Excel (pivot, lookup, scenario analysis), Word & basic Power Point.
- ERP experience of SAP in procurement modules.
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to global sourcing (China/SEA/EU) and import logistics (INCOTERMS, duties).
- Experience with ESG/compliance in supply chains and supplier audits.
- Working knowledge of quality tools: PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D, SPC.
