Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Direct Purchase (Automotive seating systems)

Location: MSKH, Pune (Chakan)

Industry:Automotive seating systems

Experience: 9–16 years (role-dependent)

CTC: 12–20 LPA (depending on role and experience)

SHIFT: General SHIFT

Mandatory Requirements:

• Direct experience in Automotive seating systems
• Pure direct purchase / sourcing experience in Automotive Tier-1 or Tier-2 companies.
• Strong commodity-specific expertise and hands-on costing experience.

Commodity Expertise Required:

• Engineering Plastics – PA6, PA66, PP, POM and reinforced plastics
• Foam & Trim – PU foam, fabrics, leather, PVC and interior trim
• Sheet Metal & Tubular Parts – Stamping, pressing, tube bending, welding and fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle direct purchasing, strategic sourcing and supplier development for the relevant commodity.
• Perform should-costing and cost analysis, including raw materials, tooling, conversion costs, cycle time and scrap.
• Manage supplier negotiations, cost optimization, alternate sourcing and localization.
• Understand relevant manufacturing processes, tooling and productivity improvement.
• Manage RFQs, new project sourcing, VA/VE and procurement activities from RFQ to SOP.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
