Role:
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER -Advanced Driver Assistance System ESC
Responsibility:
- Define and manage Product Component / System requirements for ADAS function ESC in vehicle
- Work with system supplier to fulfil system requirements
- Perform system and vehicle tests for functional validation of system ensuring performance and reliability. Define Fail Safe
- Benchmark ADAS ESP functions on competitor vehicles.
Competency Requirements:
Technical/Functional:
- Experience as System engineer responsible for one or more ADAS functions namely autonomous emergency brake, LDW, LDP, LKAS, ACC including ESP and other driver assist features.
- Exposure in one of following areas - Camera/ Radar/ Ultrasonic sensors-based assistance systems
- Knowledge of Camera/ Radar/ Object Detection is preferred
- Electrical architect system know-how and debugging skills
- Knowledge of diagnostic protocols: UDS, KWP
- Exposure to ESP / EPS and Engine Calibration
- Exposure to protocol testing (EUNCAP/JNCAP)

- Self-managed, and ability to learn and adapt
- Flexibility for Overseas trainings etc.
Specific Expertise for Functional Area:
- Hands on knowledge of Python, Embedded C, MATLAB Simulink, usage of CANoe, CANalyzer, dSpace s Control desk,Carmaker, Vires VTD, CAN FD protocol.
- Know how to prepare the Function requirement specification document
- Usage of ADS tools for test data / video analysis
- Exposure to Cyber security ISO 26262 functional safety
