Location: Pune, Hinjewadi Office (with flexibility to work in UK/US shifts)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our Data and Operations team within the GAC division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background, proven people management experience, and expertise in automation tools and technologies. This role will involve overseeing data operations, manage team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple operation support teams/groups for a range of data/content management activities.
- Ensure team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies and research tools.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity through cross collaboration and Agile methodology.
- Manage the performance review process, Career guidance and talent development.
- Leverage emerging technologies (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, GenAI, PYSPARK) to enhance data processing and reporting capabilities.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Drives data quality and governance through proactive issue resolution, diligent monitoring of data lineage and rules, Metadata management and collaborative engagement with stakeholders to implement efficient solutions- Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK framework for data management, SIX SIGMA, RCA techniques etc.
- Nice to have: Experience with data cataloging tools (such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Data Catalog), knowledge of data cataloging concepts, and awareness of the importance of capturing data lineage.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of semantic technologies (such as RDF, RDFS, OWL, and SPARQL) which are foundational for building Ontologies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferably in finance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or finance, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and data management practices.
- Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including Python, SQL, Power BI, and GenAI.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards and stakeholder expectations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Not appeared for CRISIL test / interviews in the last six months.
