Job Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Executive to support Embassy teams (Legal and Business) in the inspection, verification, and maintenance of original documents. The role requires strong coordination skills, fluency in Marathi, and the ability to liaise effectively with local authorities across Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document Management & Verification

  • Assist in inspection, verification, and proper maintenance of original legal and property-related documents.
  • Ensure systematic organization, tracking, and housekeeping of physical and digital records.
  • Support due diligence activities by reviewing and validating legal documents.

2. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with Legal and Business teams to support documentation requirements for ongoing projects and transactions.
  • Provide timely updates on document status, discrepancies, and compliance requirements.

3. Liaisoning & External Coordination

  • Liaise with local authorities, government offices, and regulatory bodies across Maharashtra for documentation and approvals.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for document collection, submission, and verification processes.

4. Compliance & Support

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to documentation.
  • Support the legal team in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and submissions.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Law preferred – LLB or relevant field)
  • Fluency in Marathi (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi preferred
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in legal documentation, verification, or liaison roles
  • Experience working with real estate/legal firms or handling property-related documents will be an added advantage

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and records management
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential documents with integrity
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, document tracking)
