About noon
We're building an ecosystem of digital products and services that power everyday life across the Middle East—fast, scalable, and deeply customer-centric. Our mission is to deliver to every door every day. We want to redefine what technology can do in this region, and we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Analytics & Automation) who can help us move even faster.
noon's mission: Every door, every day.
What you'll do:
Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.
As Assistant Manager (Cost Optimisation), you will be at the intersection of data, ground-level operations, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll own the end-to-end process of identifying where costs can be reduced — from writing the SQL query, to building the dashboard, to sitting with operations teams to understand the problem, to presenting the case for change.
This role is for someone who knows that the best insight is worthless if it doesn't get acted on. You are equally comfortable in BigQuery and in a room full of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve ambiguous, poorly-defined problems by drilling to root causes — turning vague observations into structured data experiments.
- Data & Analysis
- Own the full data lifecycle: from raw BigQuery extraction to clean, analysis-ready datasets.
- Design and maintain high-impact dashboards tracking unit economics, productivity KPIs, and logistics cost layers.
- Use Google Sheets (including App Script) for rapid ad-hoc analysis and lightweight automated models.
- Cost Optimization & Stakeholder Execution
- Proactively identify cost optimization opportunities across fulfillment and last-mile logistics.
- Own projects end-to-end: from identifying the opportunity with data, to coordinating with operations, commercial, and tech teams to drive implementation.
- Translate ground-level operational context — gathered directly from field teams and hub managers — into structured data narratives and business cases.
- Build trust with operational stakeholders through clear communication, reliable analysis, and follow-through on commitments.
What you'll need:
- 3-5 years of experience in business analytics
- SQL Power User: Expert-level BigQuery skills
- Google sheets specialist: Advanced knowledge of Formulas and Google App Script
- Exceptional communication skills — you can distill a complex dataset into a clear narrative for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Visualization Expert: Deep experience with Looker Studio (Data Studio) and advanced Google Sheets.
- Knowledge in Python: Proficiency in Python is a major requirement, specifically for applying Data Science techniques and building predictive models.
- Experience with E-commerce, 3PL, or Supply Chain.
Who will excel
- We're looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.
- You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.
- We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.
- noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.
