Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited law school

Experience

  • 6 – 8 years post qualification experience.
  • PQE with a reputed law firm in general corporate practice and / or in-house experience with MNCs or Indian conglomerates.
  • Sectoral preference: manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and infrastructure companies.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation for a wide range of commercial transactions including product supply, procurement, R&D agreements, IT contracts, technical services and supply chain contracts.
  • Advising operational and business issues.
  • Drafting and reviewing policy documents and operating procedures
  • Drafting notices, replies and affidavits.
  • Maintaining digital database.
  • Assisting in knowledge management.
  • Updating stakeholders on legal developments, new laws, judicial precedents, regulatory requirements and compliance issues

Key Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and contract laws.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Good analytical and drafting skills and commercial acumen.
  • Team player and excellent collaborator.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
