Purpose of the Role:

To support the execution of corporate communication (Social Media & Internal Communication) initiatives with a focus on social media, digital platforms, and internal communication, ensuring consistent brand messaging, employee engagement, and effective digital presence aligned with Alkem's overall communication strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute Alkem's social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create, and publish engaging content including posts, reels, creatives, videos, and campaigns aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Track social media performance, analyze insights, and optimize content strategy to improve reach and engagement.
  • Monitor digital trends and recommend creative brand campaigns to strengthen online visibility and presence.
  • Support internal communication initiatives including leadership communication, campaigns, newsletters, and employee engagement programs.
  • Drafting, designing, releasing internal communication
  • Coordinate with key functional/ department teams for timely dissemination of key messages and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all digital and internal communication channels.
  • Liaise with creative and digital agencies for content development and execution.

  • Growth in followers, viewership and engagement across social media platforms
  • Quality and effectiveness of internal communication initiatives
  • Timeliness and consistency of communication rollouts
  • Innovation in digital campaigns and formats

  • Internal: Corporate Communication team, Business Teams, Leadership
  • External: Digital/Creative agencies, Social media partners

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media
  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Marketing; MBA preferred
  • Strong content writing and storytelling skills
  • Good understanding of digital platforms, analytics, and social media tools
  • Creative thinking
  • Strong coordination, followup and stakeholder management skills
