Role Description The Assistant Manager – Corporate and International Tax will manage and review corporate and cross-border tax assignments, including compliance, advisory, and planning for domestic and international clients. Responsibilities include reviewing tax returns and tax computations, supporting tax audits and assessments, and preparing technical memos and opinions on corporate and international tax issues. The role involves interpreting and applying tax laws and treaties, assisting in structuring transactions, and coordinating with internal teams and clients on tax matters. The Assistant Manager will monitor regulatory changes, assist in process improvements, and contribute to knowledge sharing and training within the team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring regular interaction with clients, tax authorities, and global network firms.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in tax-related domains, including Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax Law, with the ability to interpret and apply corporate and international tax regulations.
  • Solid foundation in core Tax concepts and Accounting, including preparation and review of financial statements and tax reports.
  • CA Qualified with relevant experience in corporate and international tax in a consulting or Big Four/mid-tier firm environment.
  • Proficiency in using tax and accounting software, strong MS Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams, mentor junior staff, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
