Key Responsibilities
Financial Close & Reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring timely completion and accuracy
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for SEC reporting and internal management
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with reporting standards across business units
Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations for key and non-key accounts
- Identify discrepancies, propose adjustments, and ensure accurate financial records
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate trends compared to prior periods
Revenue Recognition & Contract Accounting
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606)
- Manage contract setup and financial treatment across complex service agreements
- Interpret contract terms and align accounting entries accordingly
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Execute internal controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Identify control gaps and support remediation of accounting and compliance issues
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure adherence to company policies
Audit Support
- Assist in internal and external audit processes with comprehensive documentation and workpapers
- Support resolution of audit findings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Financial Analysis & Insights
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making
- Provide insights into business performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Prepare reports and presentations for management review
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements
- Support standardization and centralization of accounting operations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business operations teams to support growth and expansion initiatives
- Communicate financial issues, risks, and recommendations to leadership
- Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
