Assistant Manager - Contracts

1. Vendor Master Management

Key Activities:

• Verify and validate all documents required for vendor empanelment.
• Check statutory details such as PAN card, GST registration, and required declarations.
• Clarify queries related to documentation and process.
• Ensure vendors are onboarded as per compliance standards.

Performance Indicators:

• Accuracy of documentation
• Turnaround Time (TAT)

2. Material Master Management

Key Activities:

• Create and maintain the material master in SAP.
• Ensure all documentation required for work order execution is received and verified.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for smooth workflow initiation.

Performance Indicators:

• Process compliance
• Accuracy and timeliness of SAP entries

3. Pre-qualification of Contractors & Consultants

Key Activities:

• Assist in vendor shortlisting based on quotations, peer reviews, and HO recommendations.
• Conduct vendor reference checks, including company profile and market reputation.
• Support the evaluation of vendor capabilities and past project quality.

Performance Indicators:

• Quality of shortlisted vendors
• Effectiveness of reference checks

4. SAP Support Functions

Key Activities:

• Provide training and support to users as a part of the SAP core team.
• Resolve process- and system-related queries regarding SAP.
• Create and maintain the SAP User Manual for internal users.

Performance Indicators:

• Query resolution TAT
• User satisfaction and SAP process adherence
