Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced TACACS Administrator with strong expertise in enterprise network security environments, specifically within BFSI domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TACACS implementations using Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), along with a solid understanding of AAA frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage TACACS+ solutions in enterprise BFSI environments.
• Configure and maintain TACACS services on Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and Cisco ISE.
• Integrate TACACS with network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) aligned with least privilege principles.
• Monitor authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) logs for audit and compliance purposes.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness of TACACS infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot TACACS-related issues across multi-vendor environments.
• Collaborate with security, audit, and risk teams to align with organizational policies.
• Maintain detailed documentation, audit trails, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of CPPM and ISE platforms.

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements (BFSI)

• Ensure TACACS and AAA implementations comply with BFSI regulatory standards and internal security policies.
• Support compliance with frameworks such as:
• RBI (Reserve Bank of India) cybersecurity guidelines
• PCI-DSS (for payment systems security)
• ISO 27001 / ISO 27002
• SOC 2 (where applicable)
• Maintain audit-ready configurations, logs, and reports for internal and external audits.
• Implement strong authentication controls, privileged access management (PAM), and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Enforce periodic access reviews and certification processes.
• Ensure secure logging, retention, and archival in line with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audit assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in network security / AAA administration, preferably in BFSI domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) TACACS configuration and management
• Cisco ISE TACACS administration and policy configuration
• Deep understanding of TACACS+, RADIUS, and AAA concepts.
• Experience in implementing security controls in regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SNMP, etc.).
• Experience integrating with identity sources such as Active Directory / LDAP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as:
• Cisco CCNP Security / CCIE Security
• Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)
• Experience with automation (Python, Ansible)
• Exposure to SIEM tools and log management solutions
