Responsibilities
- Site Execution:
- Oversee construction activities such as site leveling, grading, roads, drains, and foundations.
- Ensure proper dewatering systems to maintain dry work areas until completion.
- Technical Expertise:
- Interpret and review civil drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Conduct rate analysis, bill certification, and survey works.
- BOP Structures:
- Manage civil works for coal handling plants, wagon tipplers, tunnels, stockyards, stacker/reclaimer, crusher house, etc.
- Planning & Scheduling:
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with multiple departments for smooth execution.
- Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to IS Codes, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Monitor earth compaction, moisture content, dry density tests, and documentation.
- Resource Management:
- Plan equipment mobilization, manpower allocation, and utilization.
- Reporting:
- Compile and present project status reports to management.
Qualifications
BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
