POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Manager will provide technical support for CBG projects and review process. This role involves coordinating with the stakeholders. This position is for strong technical knowledge in biomass feedstock, anaerobic digestion/culturing, biogas purification, gas upgradation, biogas process and CBG transportation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience preferred in biogas / CBG sector
- Experience in managing required chemicals, reagents, dosing system and supplies
- Knowledge of gas lab instruments, test sampling, reports, findings, parameters – specifically in the biogas
- Exposure to instrumentation and automation of the biogas plant
- Detailed knowledge of the process of the biogas / compressed biogas plant
- Strong understanding of feedstock management, anaerobic culturing, biogas cleaning, upgradation and gas handling
- Experience in energy mass balances
- Familiar with SATAT / MNRE / CPCB / SPCB / CBG-CGD / Fire Safety - policies / guidelines / compliance
- Experience of large scale CBG projects (10 TPD or above capacity) based on paddy straw / press-mud / cattle dung / municipal solid waste
- Carbon credits exposure; specifically, for CBG plant is plus
- Ability to handle field operations, troubleshoot and basic equipment issues
- Familiarity with Indian gas / biomass standards / relevant global standards
- Experience in handling the feedstock like paddy straw, press-mud, MSW and cattle dung
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Bio-Chemistry / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering, Microbiology / Environmental Sciences
- Strong hands-on experience of minimum 4 years in biogas / CBG sector can apply
- In addition to this, certified course related to Biomass / Biogas is a plus
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 46 years of experience in biogas / CBG sector
- Minimum 3 years of EPC project or Biogas Plant Operation experience is preferred
