JOB SUMMARY
You will lead end to end sourcing process for machinery / Equipment's – CAPEX.
You shall be responsible for end-to-end sourcing of equipment's & materials required for functioning of Plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Capex/Indirect sourcing /Purchasing for an OEM in the areas of Cell Manufacturing.
- Knowhow of the Machine building & understanding of BOM.
- Experience of scouting & awarding suppliers from Korea, China, Europe etc.
- Drive the Techno commercial discussion with suppliers along with CFT.
- Equipment's Localisation.
- Lead and manage the RFI, RFQ, Cost Comparison, should costing, Benchmarking, & awarding process.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with manufacturing needs and sustainability goal.
- Establish beneficial working relationships with various internal groups across the organization including various programs, regional/country offices, legal, finance, and others.
- Manage complex projects from conception through implementation, including change management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Min 8 yrs of proven work experience in Indirect Sourcing, Cell production Company for Green field or Brown Field Project.
- Analytical skills for cost analysis and supplier evaluation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Broad Knowledge about Cell Assy & Cell Production Equipment's required for Plant functioning.
Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications
- Essential- bachelor's degree in Electronics/ Chemical/mechanical engineering, .
- Min 8+ years of experience in indirect sourcing/procurement in the Cell Production/ automotive industry
