Position: Assistant Manager – Forensic Audit & Investigation

Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Forensic Audit & Investigation will be responsible for leading and executing forensic engagements, fraud investigations, and dispute-related assignments. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound accounting knowledge, and extensive client-facing experience, with the ability to independently manage assignments and stakeholder interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Forensic Audits & Investigations
- Lead and execute forensic audits, fraud investigations, and misconduct reviews across sectors
- Identify red flags, analyze complex financial data, and assess potential fraud schemes
- Perform transaction testing, data analytics, and evidence gathering
- Prepare investigation reports, executive summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients during engagements
- Conduct client meetings, interviews, and presentations of findings
- Coordinate with legal counsel, senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders
- Support business development activities including proposals and client pitches
Team & Engagement Management
- Supervise, mentor, and review work performed by senior associates and associates
- Manage engagement timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, internal methodologies, and regulatory requirements
Advisory & Compliance Support
- Assist in matters related to regulatory inquiries, whistleblower investigations, and compliance reviews
- Support dispute advisory assignments including quantification of losses and expert support
- Contribute to development of forensic methodologies and knowledge sharing initiatives

- Strong understanding of forensic accounting, fraud risk management, and investigation techniques
- Excellent financial analysis, accounting, and auditing skills
- Proven client-facing experience with the ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- High ethical standards and professional scepticism
Qualification & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 2.5+ years of relevant experience in forensic audit, fraud investigation, or related advisory roles
- Prior experience in consulting firms / Big4 / forensic advisory practices preferred
- Mandatory experience in handling client-facing roles
