Position Summary:
This role is responsible for driving sales and margin analytics, P&L reporting, and category performance insights. Partners with business teams to optimize profitability, support strategic planning, and drive actionable financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own Sales and Margin Analysis and publish accurate Merchandising P&Ls, considering all costs and inventory factors.
- Monitor pricing/promotions impact on margins and provide recommendations for faster decision-making.
- Participate in Line Reviews and S&OP processes, analyzing category performance, GMROI, and seasonal sell-through trends.
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at category/department level .
- Lead AOP Planning and benchmarking against industry KPIs to guide business strategy.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous problems.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and business finance processes.
- Experienced in working with business/revenue teams to drive insights and results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across functions and hierarchy.
Location - Gurgaon
Education - Chartered Accountant with 2-5years of post qualification experience.
