Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Sales Engineer with strong exposure to bidding, tendering, and estimation for HVAC projects (not product sales). The candidate will play a key role in project-based sales, technical coordination, documentation, and business development activities within the Mechanical MEP industry.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end project sales activities, including preparation and submission of bids and tenders, cost estimation, and techno-commercial documentation for HVAC projects. The role involves coordination with internal engineering, execution, and design teams to ensure accurate proposals aligned with project requirements. The candidate will also support business development efforts through cold calling, client follow-ups, and identification of new project opportunities. Maintaining proper documentation, proposals, BOQs, drawings, and contractual records will be a critical part of the role.

Technical Requirements

The candidate must have strong knowledge of the Mechanical MEP industry, particularly HVAC systems. This includes hands-on understanding of HVAC project execution, design concepts, and system integration. Expertise in utility piping design and execution, chilled water system design, and HVAC system layouts is essential. The candidate should be able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents effectively.

Business Development & Communication

The role requires effective communication with consultants, contractors, and clients. Knowledge of cold calling, lead generation, and business development practices will be an added advantage. The candidate should be capable of presenting technical solutions and supporting negotiations during the pre-sales stage.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in HVAC project sales (bidding, tendering, and estimation)
  • Strong understanding of HVAC design, execution, and chilled water systems
  • Knowledge of utility piping systems and Mechanical MEP works
  • Experience in documentation and techno-commercial submissions
  • Exposure to cold calling and business development is preferred
