Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Banquet Sales supports the planning and execution of sales strategies to drive banquet, rooms, and F&B revenue across MAYFAIR units. The role involves managing client relationships, supporting deal closures, achieving assigned sales targets, and assisting in team coordination to maximize business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

Assist in the creation and execution of sales action plans to achieve banquet, room, and F&B revenue targets.

Generate revenue by acquiring new clients, developing existing accounts, and ensuring repeat business.

Identify business gaps and support in implementing sales promotional activities.

Track competitor activities and market trends to support sales strategy.

  • Client Handling & Account Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.

Understand client requirements and offer suitable banquet and event solutions.

Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle client queries and complaints effectively.

Maintain regular follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed business.

  • Sales Coordination & Deal Support

Assist in negotiating and finalizing rates in line with company guidelines to maintain desired ARR.

Support senior management in reviewing and closing sales deals.

Ensure proper documentation and coordination for all confirmed bookings.

Monitor sales realizations, outstanding payments, and follow up for closures.

  • Team Support & Target Achievement

Achieve individual monthly sales targets and contribute to team targets.

Support the team in achieving overall business goals.

Coordinate with internal departments (operations, kitchen, front office) for seamless event execution.

  • Reporting & Administration

Maintain updated records of all sales activities, accounts, and reports.

Submit periodic reports to management and corporate office as required.

Maintain daily sales call reports and client interaction logs.

  • Market Development

Identify new business opportunities in local and regional markets.

Support expansion of distribution channels and networks.

Assist in building market intelligence and customer database.

  • Compliance & Operational Standards

Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.

Maintain proper documentation for all sales transactions.

Support smooth coordination across departments for operational efficiency.
