In this role, you will be expected to design, develop and maintain data integration and provision for data analytics and reporting teams.

Responsibilities
.Transform raw data into consumable datasets for MI/BI teams using business logic and data modeling requirements
.Build and optimize Spark jobs, workflows, and data transformation logic for high volume datasets.
.Handle large datasets, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Databricks workflows
.Build and optimize ETL workflows using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
.Develop scalable data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data.
.Implement Delta Lake features: ACID transactions, schema evolution, optimization
.Maintain dataflow orchestration and develop solutions for real-time and batch data processing using In-house orchestration tools
.Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures ensuring the quality, integrity, and dependability of the data.
.Improve the scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of workflows
.Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
.Analyze and resolve complex data issues while with stakeholders delivering data solutions aligned with business needs
.Design and implement efficient data models (bronze/silver/gold layers) following medallion architecture
.Collaborating with wider Data teams to provide data for analytics and reporting

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
.Good years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering.
.Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala).
.Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
.Experience with Delta Lake, including schema management and performance tuning.
.Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) - preferably Azure.
.Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
.Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL design, and data modeling
.Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics
.Experience in ETL development and data orchestration

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
.Relevant years of experience in Azure cloud-based data engineering or similar roles
.Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and business stakeholders
.Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions architect
