Job Summary

As a Robotic Sales Manager Automotive & Tier 1, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development of KUKA's advanced robotics and automation solutions within the automotive sector across South India( Tamil Nadu).

This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, consultative selling skills, and relationship management. You will work closely with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and system integrators to identify opportunities, develop valuebased solutions, and manage the complete sales cyclefrom opportunity identification to order closure.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key strategic accounts across South India.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for KUKA robotics and automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, longterm relationships with customers by understanding their automation needs and production challenges.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to communicate KUKA's value proposition.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close orders in alignment with company policies.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automotive automation.
  • Provide structured feedback to management on customer requirements, market dynamics, and potential product improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on targeted campaigns, events, and promotional activities.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with application engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support customers during project implementation by addressing technical queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive, robotics, or industrial automation.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex automation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Selfdriven, proactive, and resultsoriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of South Indian languages is an added advantage.
