Assistant Manager - Audit and Complinace (NPS)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Audit & Compliance to manage and coordinate audit activities within the NPS operations function. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in audit coordination, risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder management. This is an individual contributor role that requires extensive interaction with auditors, internal teams, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits related to NPS processes.
• Work closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to provide required data, documents, and clarifications.
• Coordinate with IT teams for audit data requests and system-related requirements.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and support implementation of mitigation plans.
• Track audit observations, prepare responses, and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Prepare audit reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Liaise with auditors, clients, regulators, and other stakeholders whenever required.
• Monitor remediation activities and drive closure of audit findings.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or Financial Services Operations.
• Proven experience in coordinating with auditors, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in the NPS domain will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments.
