Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of experience to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This opportunity is suitable for professionals with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The Assistant Manager will support various client engagements by assisting in financial reporting, bookkeeping, compliance, advisory, and taxation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions

Work on direct and indirect taxation, including GST, income tax, and corporate tax matters

Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory returns

Support transaction advisory by analyzing financial data and preparing reports

Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for clients

Assist in financial reporting, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and strategy development

Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with relevant financial laws

Maintain strong client relationships and exploring opportunities

Ensure on-time completion of all assignments meeting the deadlines

Identifying process improvement opportunities in the engagements.

Preparation of clear and concise report, summarizing findings and recommendations that can be actionable.

Required Knowledge:

  • A strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, including knowledge of bookkeeping practices
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, income tax, and corporate tax regulations
  • Awareness of corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial modeling tools used for financial reporting and analysis

Required Skills:

  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, tax compliance, and other critical tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting, along with experience using accounting and financial modeling software
