Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Women's & National Team Department will be responsible for supporting and partially leading the planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to women's national teams and development programmes. The role requires strong organisational, operational, and stakeholder management skills to ensure high quality delivery across camps, competitions, and key women's football initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
- Team Operations & Logistics
Lead coordination of logistics for national team camps and competitions (travel, accommodation, training venues, meals, transport).
Develop and manage detailed itineraries and operational plans for all team activities.
Coordinate with internal departments (competitions, finance, communications, safeguarding) to ensure seamless execution.
- Administrative & Compliance Management
Oversee maintenance of player databases and documentation (passports, visas, contracts, medical records).
Ensure timely submission of all competition and regulatory documentation.
Ensure compliance with AFC and FIFA requirements.
- Women's Football Development Programmes
Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of the ASMITA leagues across states, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Assist in the implementation of FIFA Women's Development Programmes, including workshops, capacity building initiatives, and grassroots activities.
Work closely with state associations and partners to ensure effective delivery and alignment with national objectives.
Serve as a key point of contact between players, coaches, support staff, and AIFF departments.
Coordinate communication with state associations, clubs, and external partners.
Support structured engagement with parents/guardians where required, particularly for youth teams.
- Camp & Competition Delivery
Support and supervise the execution of national team camps and competitions.
Coordinate matchday operations, including team logistics and administrative requirements.
Work closely with coaching and support staff to meet performance and operational needs.
Assist in budget planning and monitor expenses for camps, competitions, and development programmes.
Coordinate with finance for the timely processing of payments, reimbursements, and vendor management.
Ensure cost efficiency and adherence to approved budgets.
- Safeguarding & Player Welfare
Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding policies and protocols.
Monitor player welfare standards, including accommodation, travel, and overall wellbeing.
Report and escalate concerns in line with AIFF safeguarding guidelines.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare and review post-camp and competition reports.
Maintain accurate records for audits, reviews, and performance tracking.
Support data collection and reporting for both technical and operational evaluation.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years of experience in sports administration, team operations, or programme management
Minimum AFC C Coaching License Required
AFC B License or higher will be an added advantage
Additional Requirements
Experience in women's football development programmes is preferred
Willingness to travel extensively with teams
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and matchdays
Strong commitment to safeguarding and ethical conduct in sport
