Assistant Manager - Accounts
Location – Pune, India
Qualifications –CA/ ICWA / CMA Inter Or Final
Industry experience – 1-3 years of experience handling mainstream accounting functions in IT / ITeS industry (especially an MNC / Indian entity with subsidiary / parent company in the US/Canada/Europe). Knowledge of SAGE Intacct accounting software will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
- Shall be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activity of the entity based in UK & US
- Accounting for invoices issued to customers, credit notes (including preparation of the same)
- AP bills processing including validating the invoice with delivery challan for quality of material, quantity, price and other commercial terms
- Ensure that AP invoices are recorded into SAGE Intacct on a periodical basis
- Ensuring that payments are made as per approved credit norms and timelines through Bill.com
- Credit card reconciliation and updating expense in Mavenlink
- Update invoice, revenue tracker
- Perform the Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts and ensure that open items are justified. This is a time bound activity and has to be done before 3rd calendar day of the next month
- Record and ensure that all month end accrual journals are posted in financial systems by the last day of the month and reversed on the first day of the next month
- Perform reconciliations for all balance sheet items at every month ends. This is a month close activity and must be done before 5th calendar day of the next month
- Ensure that all Payroll workings (payroll is outsourced) is accurate and postings and accruals into financial system are done timely
- Raise intercompany invoices
- Accounting for all employee expense reimbursements (including vouching and verification) and ensure payments are made as per agreed cycles
- Prepare ad hoc reports

- Support in preparation of working for the Statutory auditors
