Position Overview:
TheAssistant Manager - Accounts (Finance)plays a key role in supporting billing governance, international revenue reconciliation, receivables management, and Order-to-Cash (OTC) control processes. The role ensures billing accuracy, compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, timely reconciliation of international cost and reve nue components, and structured MIS reporting to stakeholders.
The position requires close collaboration with Pricing, Revenue, Operations, Systems, and Regional Finance teams to ensure accurate billing execution and strong internal financial controls.
Job Purpose:
To ensure accurate and timely billing operations, disciplined receivable management, robust reconciliation controls, and compliance with accounting and regulatory frameworks - while supporting process automation and continuous improvement within the Order-to-Cash cycle.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
International Billing & Revenue Reconciliation
- Execute international billing for Trinity and related business streams.
- Perform cost versus revenue reconciliation for international operations.
- Process inbound and outbound international files ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure accurate billing of inbound and outbound duty taxes, including reconciliation of payables and receivables.
- Validate freight charges, value-added services, surcharges, and discounts prior to invoicing.
Billing Governance & Master Data Management
- Update rate master's for international business in coordination with Pricing.
- Maintain accurate customer billing profiles and master data.
- Monitor billing cycles and ensure compliance with contractual terms and GST requirements.
- Govern credit notes and billing adjustments in line with company policy.
- Ensure billing interfaces reconcile accurately with financial systems.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Governance
- Follow up on AR balances and coordinate with regions for timely collections.
- Prepare and review credit limit review files and support regional updates for credit enhancements.
- Monitor receivable aging and escalate deviations as required.
- Support dispute resolution and ensure closure within defined timelines.
Order-to-Cash (OTC) Controls & Compliance
- Ensure ICF compliance for OTC processes.
- Ensure closure of GPI activities from regions within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for IFC, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for billing and receivables processes.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly provisioning working files related to billing and receivables.
- Generate billing and receivable MIS reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of structured financial reports.
- Highlight reconciliation gaps and support corrective action.
System Coordination & Automation
- Liaise with the System Development team to address billing-related issues.
- Drive system enhancements and automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention.
- Improve billing process efficiency through structured controls and digital tools.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps within billing and receivable workflows.
- Support automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Reduce billing errors and reconciliation turnaround time.
- Strengthen control discipline within the international billing process.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Inter CA / B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Billing, or Receivables management
- Experience in international billing or logistics billing preferred
- Exposure to ERP-based billing and accounting systems
