Assistant Manager - Accounts and Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to support our finance team in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and audits. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on accounting experience, and a thorough understanding of financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy and understanding key movements and financial drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify business and cost drivers.
• Apply cost allocation principles across departments, business units, products, and projects.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for timely audits and closure.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
• Support Business Finance through financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven business insights. Drive internal controls, process improvements, and cross-functional financial reporting.

Requirements

• Education: Qualified CA preferred.
• Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance,

Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
