Detailed Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct in-depth P&L reviews, analyzing variances and trends
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and decision-making
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
- Oversee the entire AR/AP cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Implement and maintain effective credit control policies
- Manage cash flow by optimizing collection processes and payment schedules
- Resolve complex AR/AP issues and discrepancies
Month-End Close Activities:
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of the month-end close process
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts through reconciliations
- Review and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Prepare month-end financial packages and present findings to senior management
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Analyze budget vs. actual variances and provide explanations
- Support long-term financial planning and modeling
- Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budgeting process
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with Billing, TDS, and GST laws
- Oversee the preparation and filing of GST returns
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and update processes accordingly
- Assist in managing external audits and liaising with auditors
Client Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on financial matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance personnel
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Implement automation tools to increase efficiency in accounting processes
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the accounting department
Team Management and Development:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Assign tasks and monitor work progress of team members
- Provide training and guidance on accounting principles and best practices
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development of team members
Financial Systems and Controls:
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting policies
- Collaborate with IT department to enhance financial systems and reporting tools
Special Projects and Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Lead or participate in special financial projects as assigned
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisions
- Assist in due diligence processes for potential mergers or acquisitions

Qualifications:
- B.Com graduate with MBA in Finance or CA Inter
- 57 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
