Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Guwahati for an Assistant Maintenance Manager. The Assistant Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, including supervising maintenance staff, ensuring the upkeep of equipment and facilities, and implementing preventive maintenance plans. The role also involves assisting in managing budgets, coordinating repair schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills to lead maintenance staff effectively and ensure efficient team operations.
• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and durability of various machinery and tools.
• Experience in Maintenance Management, including coordinating schedules and managing resources efficiently.
• Expertise in maintenance and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems as required for hotel facilities including HVAC, kitchen refrigerations etc.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards, with the ability to implement and uphold them consistently.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, maintenance management, or related field is preferred or a ITI Diploma is a must.
