Job Description

Position Overview

The IT & Systems In-Charge will be responsible for managing the company's hardware, networks, software systems, cybersecurity, user support, and technology vendors.

This is not a software development role and does not require advanced programming expertise. We are looking for a business-focused IT professional who can maintain and improve the company's technology environment while supporting users across factory, office, and project sites.

The successful candidate will lead a small IT team and serve as the primary point of contact for all internal technology requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure Management
  • Manage company laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other IT assets.
  • Maintain office, factory, and project site network infrastructure.
  • Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity across all locations.
  • Maintain Wi-Fi systems, routers, switches, and network equipment.
  • Manage local servers, storage devices, and backup systems.
  • Maintain a complete IT asset register and lifecycle tracking.
User Support & IT Operations
  • Provide technical support to employees across all departments.
  • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
  • Coordinate user access and permissions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support requests.
ERP, HRMS & Business Applications
  • Coordinate and support ERP operations.
  • Maintain HRMS and related business systems.
  • Manage user creation, access control, and permissions.
  • Coordinate upgrades, updates, and issue resolution with software vendors.
  • Support departments in maximizing system utilization.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
  • Implement and monitor antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Manage password policies and access controls.
  • Monitor data security and cybersecurity risks.
  • Ensure company information remains secure and protected.
Vendor & License Management
  • Manage software licensing and renewals.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors, ERP partners, internet providers, and service partners.
  • Procure IT hardware and software as required.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and supervise a team of three IT support personnel.
  • Allocate work and monitor performance.
  • Develop IT procedures and standard operating practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and technology standardization initiatives.

Candidate ProfileEducation
  • BCA / B.Sc IT
  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / IT)
  • Equivalent qualification
Experience
  • 5–8 years of relevant IT administration experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, project-based, or multi-location businesses preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing hardware, networks, and business applications.
  • Experience coordinating with ERP vendors and software providers.
  • Prior experience leading a small team is desirable.
