Assistant HR Manager (Sales HR)-FMCG co at Chennai

Industry: FMCG

Location: Velacherry,Chennai

Position: Assistant HR Manager – Sales HR

CTC: Maximum gross up to 6 LPA

Male candidate will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership to support manpower planning and talent acquisition for frontline sales teams.
  • Handle recruitment for Territory Sales Officers, Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and distributor sales staff.
  • Drive onboarding and induction programs for sales employees across regions.
  • Support sales performance management, incentive coordination, and productivity tracking.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives for field sales teams.
  • Coordinate with regional sales managers on attrition control and workforce planning.
  • Ensure timely closure of sales positions and maintain recruitment metrics.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies and processes across sales functions.
  • Support training and development initiatives for the sales force.
  • Handle employee grievance management and HR support for field teams.
  • Maintain HRMIS data, employee records, and reporting related to sales HR.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong experience in Sales HR within FMCG / Consumer Goods industry.
  • Experience hiring and managing frontline sales workforce.
  • Good understanding of sales incentive structures and field-force management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Willingness to coordinate with multiple regions and sales teams.

Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant HR experience with major exposure to Sales HR.
