Assistant Housekeeper

Role Description The Assistant Housekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar. This role supports the housekeeping team in maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces to high cleanliness and hygiene standards. Daily tasks include cleaning and arranging rooms, handling laundry, replenishing supplies, inspecting areas for maintenance needs, and assisting with special setups or events. The Assistant Housekeeper collaborates with the housekeeping supervisor and other staff, responds to guest requests, and helps ensure a calm, organized, and welcoming environment. The role also involves following safety and sanitation procedures and supporting training of new housekeeping staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping and Laundry skills, including cleaning procedures, fabric care, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
• Organization Skills to manage tasks efficiently, maintain orderly storage areas, and follow schedules
• Ability to support Training for new team members on cleaning standards, safety practices, and guest service expectations
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including standing, lifting, and moving equipment and linens
• Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
