Job Title:Assistant General Manager (AGM) Talent Acquisition

Role Purpose
Lead the end-to-end Talent Acquisition function to deliver high-quality hiring at speed and scale across business. Own workforce planning, strategic sourcing, employer branding, and TA operations to ensure a superior candidate and stakeholder experience while meeting cost, quality, and compliance goals.Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Planning
- Partner with business leaders to translate AOP/manpower plan into quarterly hiring plans and capability build roadmaps.
- Build and execute sourcing strategies for niche, technical, frontline, and leadership roles; drive succession pipelines.
Hiring Delivery & Governance
- Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (requisitions to onboarding handoff) for [functions/sites].
- Establish and enforce SLAs, TATs, and quality standards; run weekly hiring reviews with business.
- Lead leadership hiring and critical mandates; manage external search partners with performance scorecards.
Employer Branding & Pipelines
- Drive campus programs (GT/MT), DEI hiring initiatives, and talent communities.
- Co-own EVP activation with Corporate Communications; deliver measurable outcomes (traffic, applications, acceptance).
Data, Systems & Compliance
- Run TA through TurboHire and Darwin Box; maintain accurate dashboards and audits.
- Publish hiring analytics: funnel metrics, TAT, source mix, cost per hire, offer-to-join ratio, quality-of-hire.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, background checks, and audit readiness.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and upskill the TA team, institute capability frameworks and recruiter productivity models.
- Negotiate and manage external partners (agencies, assessment vendors, job boards) for performance and cost.
Process Excellence
- Standardize JDs, interview rubrics, and selection frameworks; drive interview capability for hiring managers.
- Implement continuous improvementsautomation, structured interviews, assessment tools, and bias mitigation.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- Experience: 1012 years.
- Proven delivery on volume + niche + leadership hiring; multi-location and plant/site exposure preferred.
- Strong command of Darwin box, sourcing tech (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri), assessments, and analytics.
