Role Summary
We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Business Unit Head to lead and scale a
manufacturing-led business focused on dairy infrastructure, cooling, and refrigeration
solutions. This role carries end-to-end PL responsibility, with a mandate to drive growth,
improve margins, build high-performance teams, and establish market leadership across
national markets.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment, deep operational
understanding, and entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to work closely with customers,
government bodies, and internal stakeholders to accelerate adoption of technology-led
solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth PL Leadership Own and drive overall business performance including revenue, margins, profitability, and cash flows. Scale the business to the next level through expansion, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives. Design and execute pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and profitability goals.
- Strategic Commercial Excellence Develop long-term growth strategies with a strong understanding of local, rural, and regional markets. Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business models to drive sustainable growth. Act as a consultative leader to customers, positioning the organization as a trusted solution partner.
- Operations Cost Management Build and run a lean, efficient operational setup to manage costs and enhance productivity. Make multidisciplinary operational decisions spanning manufacturing, supply chain, service, and sales. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems.
- Leadership People Management Lead, mentor, and scale large cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, service, and support. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, integrity, and customer centricity. Build strong leadership bench strength for long-term organizational growth.
- Technology, Innovation Market Adoption Champion innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to solve customer problems using technology. Drive adoption of new technologies through customer education and value demonstration. Maintain a steep learning curve across emerging technologies and industry advancements.
- Stakeholder Government Liaisoning Manage key relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal leadership. Liaise with government officials and agencies to enable technology adoption, schemes, and institutional sales. Represent the organization in industry forums and strategic discussions.
- Governance, Integrity Compliance Ensure the highest standards of integrity, governance, and statutory compliance. Maintain strong internal controls and ethical business practices.

Qualifications Experience
Graduate degree (Engineering preferred); MBA is a strong advantage
15+ years of experience, including national-level leadership exposure
Proven track record of improving PL through growth, efficiency, and margin expansion
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
Exposure to refrigeration technology is desirable (not mandatory)
Experience with startup scaling or funding support is a strong plus
