Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager Sales Marketing at Voltaz Electronic & LED Planet in Neyyattinkara. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to customer satisfaction, general management, sales, customer service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company targets.
- Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities to expand market reach.
- Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Generate reports and present regular sales performance updates to management.
- Coordinate with showroom and field sales staff for consistent lead management.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Design and execute effective marketing campaigns (both online & offline).
- Collaborate with the graphic design and digital marketing team for promotional content.
- Manage product launches, exhibitions, and brand visibility activities.
- Oversee social media marketing, SEO, and paid advertisements.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns using KPIs and analytics tools.
Team & Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
- Coordinate between the production, logistics, and service departments to ensure smooth sales cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing,Sales and Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and marketing, preferably in electronics or lighting industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Ability to travel occasionally for branch visits, expos, or client meetings.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with LED, lighting, or electronic goods industry.
- Knowledge of local market trends in South India.
- Exposure to AI-based marketing tools and automation platforms.
