Role Overview
The
AGM
Procurement will lead end-to-end procurement operations for interior fit-out projects and workspace development. The role requires strong vendor management, negotiation skills, material knowledge, and the ability to deliver cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to corporate interior fit-out and co-working projects.
Forecast material requirements based on project schedules, BOQs, and design specifications.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Vendor Development & Management
Build and manage a network of reliable vendors, suppliers, and contractors (MEP, civil, modular furniture, loose furniture, IT, AV, etc.).
Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and service.
Conduct periodic vendor audits and renegotiate rates/contracts.
Handle RFQs, rate analysis, cost comparisons, and final negotiations.
Ensure competitive pricing through effective negotiation strategies.
Create and maintain rate contracts and service agreements.
Oversee procurement of materials like electrical items, HVAC, plumbing, modular furniture, flooring, lighting, hardware, glass, partitions, etc.
Ensure accuracy of Purchase Orders (POs) aligned with BOQ and design requirements.
Track deliveries and ensure timely supply to site teams.
- Coordination with Internal Teams
Work closely with
Projects, MEP, Design, Commercial, Finance & Warehouse teams.
Resolve material-related issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Support project managers with timely sourcing to avoid project delays.
- Compliance, Documentation & Reporting
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and project budgets.
Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and procurement MIS.
Monitor and control material wastage and reconcile project material consumption.
- Leadership & Team Management
Lead the procurement team, assign tasks, and review performance.
Train and mentor team members on best procurement practices.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials , vendors, and market trends.
Expertise in project-based procurement.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
