Role Overview
The AGM - Internal Audit is responsible for managing revenue leakage management, risk identification, and compliance across multiple business processes. This role plays a crucial part in mitigating financial and operational risks by leveraging data analytics, monitoring internal controls, and ensuring effective governance through audits, investigations, and enterprise risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leakage Management (RLM) & Risk Identification
- Proactively identify potential revenue leakage risks based on organizational priorities, internal audit findings, and operational inputs
- Perform site verifications and escalate significant risks to the Head - Internal Audit
- Develop presentations and reports for the Audit & Risk Management Committee
- Safeguard business risks by identifying emerging threats and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies
Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) & Data Analytics
- Analyze data trends to identify key risk areas and business process inefficiencies
- Build and enhance CCM frameworks to ensure effective monitoring of critical business operations
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to develop dashboards for risk visualization and decision-making
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Assess risks across strategy, operations, people, processes, technology, and external environments
- Collaborate with the Head - Internal Audit and function owners to develop risk mitigation strategies
- Measure the effectiveness of mitigation efforts and report findings to the Audit & Risk Management Committee
Investigations & Forensics
- Oversee third-party investigations and forensic audits
- Ensure timely resolution of compliance violations and fraud cases
- Supervise due diligence processes related to customers, vendors, and market intelligence
Internal Audit & Compliance
- Oversee the third-party internal audit process, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies
- Facilitate the implementation of audit recommendations across the organization
- Ensure proper governance and compliance in business operations
Process & Technology Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on policy violations and identify process gaps
- Coordinate with business teams to resolve compliance issues and enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and provide independent assessments of their impact
