Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager - Fabric at our Faridabad location. The Assistant General Manager will oversee fabric sourcing, development, and procurement processes, ensuring quality standards and supply chain efficiency. The role includes managing vendor relationships, negotiating costs, evaluating materials, and coordinating with internal teams. Additionally, the individual will supervise production schedules, maintain compliance with sustainability and ethical practices, and support innovation in fabric technology and practices to align with the company's goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Strong expertise in fabric sourcing, procurement, material selection, and supply chain management
• Proficiency in vendor management, negotiation, and building long-term supplier relationships
• Ability to innovate and adapt to new fabric technologies and market trends
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Textiles, Fashion Technology, or a related field
• Prior experience in the apparel or textile industry is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail
• Strong Knowledge of PD ( Handling of Walmart PD will be added advantages)
• Handling of Bulk Production
• Knowledge of Fabric Testing
• Handling of Yarn dyed/ Greige / Mill sector
• Knowledge of overseas production
• Import Sourcing will be added advantages
• Price and leadtime negotiation skill
