Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized, execution-oriented leader to drive governance, coordination, and delivery across the Digital Office. This role works closely with the Chief Digital Officer to ensure alignment, visibility, and execution across strategic technology, digital, and business transformation initiatives.

The Chief of Staff is single-threaded to the CDO — the role exists to multiply the CDO's effectiveness across the digital and technology agenda.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and excels at bringing structure, discipline, and accountability to complex cross-functional programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Thought Partnership to the CDO

  • Synthesize signals from across the five Digital & Technology functions — Product, TechOps, Data & Analytics, Shared Services, and Information Security — and surface tensions, dependencies, and decisions that warrant the CDO's attention
  • Help the CDO sharpen the questions that matter before the decks get built — what to focus on this week, this quarter
  • Translate function-level inputs into a single, coherent view of the CDO Office's progress and pressure points

Transformation Governance & Program Management

  • Drive governance and execution tracking across enterprise digital, technology, and transformation initiatives
  • Establish and manage program review mechanisms, steering committees, and leadership governance forums
  • Monitor program milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans across multiple workstreams
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of actions arising from audits
  • Maintain visibility on key deliverables, timelines, and business outcomes

Executive Office & Leadership Support

  • Support the CDO in driving strategic priorities and organizational initiatives
  • Prepare leadership presentations, review materials, board updates, and executive communications
  • Consolidate updates from multiple functions and provide clear visibility on progress, risks, and decisions required
  • Facilitate leadership reviews and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Support planning and execution of key organizational priorities

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with business, technology, product, operations, and external partners to drive execution of key initiatives
  • Coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies and remove execution bottlenecks
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across programs and stakeholders
  • Support decision-making through structured analysis and data-driven insights
  • Build strong working relationships across functions to drive outcomes

Organizational Health & People Pulse

  • Maintain a pulse on the health of the Digital & Technology organization — employee sentiment, attrition signals, and cross-function collaboration quality
  • Track internal stakeholder satisfaction with the CDO Office and surface friction points early
  • Support the CDO in interpreting people signals and shaping interventions where needed
  • Act as a cultural barometer across the Digital & Technology organization

Balance Score Card Tracking & Reporting

  • Define and maintain program dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks
  • Identify execution risks and escalate
  • Drive accountability through regular progress reviews and performance tracking
  • Support leadership with timely and accurate reporting
