Assistant General Manager (AGM) Finance

About the Role

Decorpot is looking for an experienced and result-oriented AGM – Finance to lead financial planning, accounting operations, compliance, and business finance activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting.

· Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, and business performance analysis.

· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory regulations, and audits.

· Monitor project profitability, cost control, and working capital management.

· Partner with business teams to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

· Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.

· Lead and mentor the finance team while driving process improvements and automation.

Qualifications & Skills

· CA is mandatory; MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.

· 9+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in Interior Design, Construction, Real Estate, Retail, or Startup environments.

· Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Taxation, GST, TDS, and Compliance.

· Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar platforms.

· Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
