Job Description

Join a fast-growing private fund managing multi-asset investments across public and private markets. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced finance and investment operations professional to take ownership of fund accounting, investment reporting, portfolio performance monitoring and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with senior management and investment stakeholders, providing accurate financial and investment insights while driving operational efficiency and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fund accounting and administration, including NAV preparation and cash/position reconciliations with custodians.
  • Own the preparation and delivery of monthly portfolio performance reports, including returns, risk metrics and benchmark comparisons.
  • Monitor and analyse investment performance and existing holdings, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Drive process improvement, data integrity and reporting enhancements across investment operations.
  • Prepare and present investment operations, performance, risk and compliance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of investor packs and materials for Investment Committee and Board approvals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory and regulatory financial reporting, including GST filings.
  • Support KYC/AML reviews, annual statutory filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc finance and investment operations initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, investment reporting, investment operations or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets and investment operations, with exposure to equities, fixed income and alternative investments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex investment data and translate it into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to identify operational gaps and implement practical process improvements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Bloomberg and/or portfolio management systems.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced investment environment.
