Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant F&B Manager to support the Food & Beverage Manager in managing daily restaurant and F&B operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining service standards, coordinating with the team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the F&B Manager in managing daily food and beverage operations.

* Supervise and coordinate the F&B team to ensure smooth service.

* Ensure high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and guest experience.

* Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

* Monitor restaurant setup, service, cleanliness, and overall presentation.

* Coordinate with the kitchen, front office, housekeeping, and other departments.

* Assist with staff scheduling, duty allocation, and attendance.

* Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and proper utilization of F&B supplies.

* Support billing, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.

* Assist in controlling operational costs and maintaining required margins.

* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.

* Train and guide team members to improve service quality and performance.

* Prepare and maintain daily reports and operational records.

* Assist in planning and executing banquets, events, functions, and special occasions.

* Support the F&B Manager in achieving departmental sales and guest satisfaction targets.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.

* 2–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or resort.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Good knowledge of restaurant and hotel F&B operations.

* Strong team management and coordination skills.

* Customer-oriented approach with good problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and during special events.

* Good knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and service standards.

* Basic knowledge of MS Office and F&B reporting.
