Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the company's core finance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Billing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes & POR cycles, along with the ability to support financial planning and decision-making in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations:
- Coordinate with all APAC regions and prepare variance reports for all APAC sites (MTD, QTD & YTD)
- Collaborate with Client Operations vertical leads to collect data for POR cycles
- Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, billing, and P2P cycles
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and general ledger
- Manage invoicing, reports, and vendor payments efficiently
- Monitor cash flow and working capital management
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Develop and enforce financial policies and controls
- Demonstrate adaptability with financial tools in a dynamic environment
Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights
- Support leadership with financial modeling and scenario analysis
Process Improvement:
- Streamline and automate finance processes where possible
- Implement best practices in financial operations
- Improve P2P and order-to-cash cycles
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business teams to support financial decisions
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff (when applicable)
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- 78 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Experience in a technology or fast-growth company preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, GL, Billing, and P2P processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
