Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager

Salary: $4,800 - $6,800
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm
Location: Woodlands

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full set of accounts and daily finance operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Review journal entries, AR/AP ageing, inventory reports and stock ageing reports.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts for management review.
• Review and improve accounting processes, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents and relevant parties.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis when required.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate work completion.
• Work closely with internal departments on finance, inventory and operational-related matters.
• Handle any other finance or accounting duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience in full set accounts is required
• Must have hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / MS Business Central.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Able to review financial reports, audit schedules, AR/AP ageing and inventory-related reports.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST and audit requirements.
