Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Facility Manager Technical to oversee the technical operations and maintenance of our critical environments, including data centers, networking labs, and office infrastructure. The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical background, people and vendor management skills, and a proactive attitude toward uptime, compliance, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Maintenance:
  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of all technical services, including Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, UPS, DG, PAC, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems.
  • Review and implement Preventive and Corrective Maintenance plans.
  • Ensure critical systems uptime with zero interruption to business operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurrent issues.
  • Technical Supervision:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the technical team and ensure timely task execution.
  • Review and interpret MEP layouts, SLDs, and project drawings for infrastructure planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for space planning, layout finalization, and technical feasibility.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management:
  • Monitor performance of OEMs, AMCs, and service contractors as per SLA/KPIs.
  • Raise service requisitions, review POs, certify vendor bills, and track payment closures.
  • Conduct site inspections and technical audits with vendors for quality assurance.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure adherence to safety norms, environmental standards, and audit compliance (ISO/Statutory).
  • Maintain updated documentation, including PPM records, asset registers, and compliance trackers.
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation and technical reports.
  • Budgeting & Procurement:
  • Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets and cost control measures.
  • Support procurement by evaluating quotes, preparing comparative statements, and validating technical specifications.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: B. Tech Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience: 57 years of experience in managing technical infrastructure in Critical Facilities such as Data Centers, Networking Labs, Hotel, Hospital.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, power backup, HVAC, fire systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and technical reporting.
  • Team leadership and vendor management capability.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance, fire audits, and ISO documentation.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skills.

  • A self-motivated leader who can drive operational efficiency and compliance with minimal supervision.
