Assistant Engineer - Electrical

WSPis currently seeking anElectrical Engineerto join our TransportationElectricalDepartment, located at ourBengaluru office.Reporting to the department manager and to project managers within the department, this position will be responsible for the design of lighting, traffic signal, and power systems for Transportation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with project managers and project engineers on a variety of projects;
• Prepare preliminary and detailed drawings, designs and plans;
• Review of designs, drawings, calculations, and computer lighting analysis;
• Perform calculations, assessments and inspections;
• Prepare reports and other project related documentation;
• Assist with preparing presentation materials and proposals;
• Other duties as assigned by the department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Electrical Engineering;
• Interest to pursue Professional Engineer from Canada
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation and illumination design software AGi32 or others is an asset.
• 2-5 years of experience in Consulting Engineering involving site investigations, preparation of contract drawings and documents, inspection of contractor's work
• Knowledge of and experience in the design of Illumination and Traffic Signals is an asset;
• Excellent technical, analytical writing and presentation skills;
• Great communication skills, both verbally and written in English;
• Desire to take on new challenges
