- Supervise construction and O&M activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to technical standards.
- Visit assigned areas at least four days a week as per a submitted tour plan to GM PIU as well as TL SQC.
- In the absence or non-deployment of more staff, he/she may be allotted more areas to work.
- Shall be fully responsible for identifying the causes of non-achievement of the Service Level benchmarks in the distribution system/overall water supply system and recommend corrective measures.
- AE who is responsible to supervise the work of Headworks of any particular scheme will be the Nodal in charge for the scheme and he/she will be responsible to coordinate with the village people to resolve dispute if any.
- At least one Assistant Engineer must have experience in water quality testing using standard methods in lab and field-testing kit
- Any engineering work like design check, bill check & reply to contractor(s).
- To interact with GM/DGM.
- To review progress reports submitted by the contractor and prepare weekly, monthly progress reports highlighting the issues on site.
- To check measurements as per TOR
- All other duties assigned by the Team Leader and GM/DGM.
