The Assistant Director - Industry & Partnerships is responsible for building and scaling strategic partnerships with industry, corporates, investors, government bodies, and ecosystem enablers. The role drives collaboration, revenue opportunities, and market access for the incubator and its startups, while strengthening the institution's position in the innovation ecosystem.
Roles& Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the incubator's industry and partnership strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Build and manage relationships with corporates, industry leaders, investors. accelerators, and government agencies.
- Identify and onboard strategic partners for programs, co-innovation, funding, and startup support.
- Drive corporate innovation programs, industry challenges, sponsored cohorts, and collaborative initiatives.
- Enable market access, pilot opportunities, and business development support for incubated startups.
- Lead MoUs, partnerships, sponsorships, and revenue-generating engagements.
- Identify funding opportunities through CSR, grants, and industry collaborations.
- Represent the incubator in national and international forums, events, and strategic meetings.
- Work closely with the incubation team to align partnerships with startup needs and program outcomes.
- Track partnership performance, impact metrics, and revenue contributions.
- Build and mentor a partnership and outreach team for effective execution.
- Support branding, visibility, and ecosystem positioning through strategic alliances.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business , Strategy , Marketing or related fields.
Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years above and preferably in Industry partnerships, business development , corporate relations, or ecosystem buildings.
