About the Role
The Assistant Director will play a key role in enhancing the placement cycle for UG and PG programs, developing relationships with employers, and creating employment opportunities for students.
Responsibilities
- Well versed of B School Placement cycle and execution for UG and PG programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and alumni to create employment opportunities for students
- Identify and target Marquee, Super dream, Core, Dream and Regular companies with strong brand recognition and reputation. Increasing the average salary year on year for MBA and BBA/BCom student pool
- Coordinate corporate meetings and presentations with representatives of companies to showcase the talent pool of students
- Collaborate with faculty and alumni to leverage connections and referrals for Business School opportunities
- Identifying skill gaps and designing the required skill building calendar for B School students and execution
- Organize employer visits, guest lectures, and industry-specific events to foster networking opportunities for students
- Coordinate job fairs, on-campus recruitment drives, and internship programs to connect students with potential employers mapping as per the specialization
- Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and emerging career paths to provide relevant information to students
- Collect feedback from employers and students to continuously improve placement processes
- Perform any other duties assigned by competent authorities
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years above and preferably from B School experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience in corporate relations and career services
